After the Onojie of Ugbegun, the home town where Iyayi hails
from, demanded N50billion from the Governor of Kogi State as compensation to the
immediate family of late Iyayi, the family members have said, it is embarrassing
and they have not and will never ask for such. A cousin to Iyayi, Prof. Robert
Ebewale, says, it is embarrassing to try to equate the life of Prof Iyayi with money,
the family is embarrassed with the N50billion demand. Iyayi will be buried in December.
