The US government's new proposal to curb terrorism involves snooping around social media accounts of foreign travelers. The new proposal to ask visitors and non-citizens for their “social media identifier”could help border agents “investigate” your background without having to go to the NSA, Customs and Border Protection, which is part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), believes having this “identifier” could help it find “possible nefarious activity and connections.”

Bizarre skeletal remains found on Scottish beach

Reports have it that a dog walker has found skeletal remains which seem to confirm the existence of a legendary creature, the Loch Ness monster. The apparent remains can be seen surrounded by police tape.

It is claimed the dog walker stumbled on the bizarre sight on the banks of the Scottish water body from which the monster takes its name. Help2Rehome Scotland posted the images on Facebook and asked: "Has Nessy been found? Or someone playing a fascinating prank?" Good question.

15 year old daughter of late billionaire, her aunt and family friend killed in 'triple murder-suicide'

15 year old Hannah Arya, daughter to the late billionaire Real Estate broker, Michael Arya and two other women were found dead on Monday in an apparent triple murder-suicide at her father's home in one of America's wealthiest towns- Rancho Santa Fe in California, just months after her dad died from cancer.

Mia Shin, 56, a Los Angeles real estate agent and family friend and Sayeh Amini - Hannah's aunt and Michael Arya's sister - were identified as the other murder victims according to CBS 8. Police were responding to a report of possible child abuse at the house in the 17100 block of Via de la Valle and made the grim discovery around noon, Monday, according to Lt. Kenn Nelson of the San Diego Sheriff's Department. Lt Nelson said policemen spotted the body of one of the women through a window and decided to enter, finding the other two bodies in separate rooms.

Justice Adeniyi Ademola has struck out a suit filed by Abuja based legal practitioner, Nnamdi Nwokocha- Ahaaiwe, challenging the authenticity of President Buhari's WAEC certificate. The case was struck out following a notice of withdrawal filed by the institutor, Nwokocha-Ahaaiwe.
In striking out the case this morning, the presiding judge, Justice Ademola held that by “section 50(2) of the federal high court civil procedure rules the matter is hereby struck out”.

Six gay men were attacked in Cote d’Ivoire and forced to flee their homes after they were pictured signing a condolence book for the victims of the recent attack at a gay night club in Orlando, Florida early this month. Alleged forgery: Attorney General of the Federation fails to appear before the senate

The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, this afternoon failed to appear before the Senate Committee on Legal Matters, Judiciary & Human Rights where a public inquiry into the case of alleged forgery of senate order filed by Malami's office against the Senate President Bukola Saraki, his deputy Ike Ekweremadu and two others was to be held.

The Special Adviser to President Buhari on prosecution at the Ministry of Justice, represented Malami and informed the committee members that the Attorney General was out of the country. A member of the committee, Senator Chukwuka Utazi, said this is a slap on the face of the senate.

Abia Governorship : INEC issues certificate of return to Uche Ogah

INEC this afternoon issued a certificate of return to PDP member, Uche Ogah (left), following an order by the Abuja Federal High Court on Monday June 27th, mandating INEC to immediately issue Certificate of Return to Ogah who came second at the PDP primaries in the state in 2014.

Ogah had dragged the former state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, before the court, arguing that he presented false tax clearance during the party primaries. The presiding judge, Justice Okon Abang, said that on the account of fake tax returns during the primaries, Ikpeazu was never qualified to run in the PDP primaries as a governorship candidate. He nullified Ikpeazu's election and ordered INEC to issue a certificate of return to Ogah.

The little girl who appears to be sick, was dumped on the roadside at Alimosho area of Lagos state this morning. Police officers who found her, took her to the Alimosho general hospital and handed her over to the nurses there.

Some Media Outlets revealed hours ago that rapper Iggy Azalea had called off her engagement to Nick Young after he confessed he got his baby mama pregnant. Embattled former Publicity Secretary of PDP, Olisa Metuh, has offered to refund the N400 million from the arms deal procurement fund that was traced to him. In a statement released by his lawyer, Onyechi Ikpazu, Metuh said he was returning the money to signify his support for President Muhammadu Buhari's anti-corruption war. Metuh is currently undergoing trial for money laundering at a Federal High Court in Abuja.

The state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has released a statement reacting to the development, According to him, he remains the Governor of the state since he has filed an appeal against the ruling.
