Nigerians on twitter were buzzing about alleged news of President  Buhari's death. Garba Shehu, his official spokesperson, took to Twitter to clear the air and tweeted; 'He is alive and well! President Buhari is not magical. He cannot be holidaying in the UK & be in Germany, dead or alive at the same time'.

Accidental airstrike in Rann was the second military error in two weeks- Int'l Center for Investigative reporting says

According to a new report by the Center for Investigative reporting, the accidental airstrike at an IDP camp in Rann, Borno state that killed over 100, was the second of such military errors in two weeks. According to the report, an erroneous gunfire by some soldiers in Borno state had killed over 30 IDPs in Gamboru Ngala in the state the previous week.
The IDPs had gone into the bush in search for firewood to cook their meals when they were gunned down by soldiers who saw them and mistook them for Boko Haram members.

The little girl pictured above, was tortured, left to starve for days and then caged like a dog by her family members who believed she was a witch. She was found by some members of the public in Akure, Ondo state and the police was alerted. She was rescued by the police and has been in the police custody since then. George Michael's former lover claims the late singer was 'hooked on sex drugs'

Paul Stag, a former lover of late singer George Michael, claims he was addicted to a sex drug which led to his death. Stag who dated George for nine years from 2004 after they met through a gay magazine said he often supplied him with Liquid G, a sleeping drug also known as chems and GHB.

He believes the drug was in George's system when he died aged 53 on Christmas Day. 

Speaking to the Sun on Sunday, Stag said:

'George was mad on G. He loved it. It is 100 per cent he would have had chems on Christmas Eve before his death.'
'He was incredibly sexually active and in his mind drugs equalled sex and sex equalled drugs. My belief is he didn't separate that until the day he died.'

Mr Stag said George couldn't handle his drugs and he could see a 'car crash' end coming towards the end of their relationship

'I saw him collapse many, many times,' he said. 'He threw up on my bathroom floor and I had to kick him out of my house.'

Bala Chinda who murdered Jessica Nkechi McGraa is the son of a Nigerian diplomat

Bala Chinda, who was sentenced to 18 years in prison on Friday for the rape and murder of Nigerian high class escort, Jessica Nkechi McGraa is also a Nigerian, according to Scottish Press.

Chinda's father works at the Nigerian embassy in Beijing. The 26-year-old killed Ms McGraa only a few weeks after arriving in Scotland to study at Robert Gordon University.


Her body was found partially clothed on 12 February 2016, in the bedroom of the Aberdeen flat she rented. CCTV footage revealed that she had travelled to Chinda's student accommodation on King Street with him in a taxi the previous evening, before they returned to her apartment a short time later.
