the adult version and they dance it without wearing anything.Over the
last few years, no single dance has dominated the Ghanaian landscape

auditoriums but has also gained international recognition not only on

YouTube video with a white boy dancing Azonto on the streets of central
London with Sarkodie’s ‘U Go Kill Me’ in the background whilst rapper
Snoop Dogg was also captured on tape doing the dance. The Azonto craze
has made waves around the world to the extent that legal experts in the
entertainment industry have called on Ghana to patent, B.RAnd, package,
and adopt international marketing mechanism for the modernisation of
traditional dance, Kpanlogo, into Azonto dance for socio-economic
gains.However, inspite of the numerous advantages and gains associated
with the dance, a hand full of people has taking it to the extreme.
Presently, P&P has in its possession, some semi-NIUDE pictures of an
alleged “NEKKED Azonto party” which was allegedly held at a secret
location at Ashaiman during the yuletide.Although the P&P could not
independently authenticate the source of the pictures and the exact
location in Ashaiman where the alleged party took place, we gathered
that some young ladies and men STR1Pped NEKKED and semi-NEKKED as they
did the Azonto dance. The ladies allegedly STR1Pped leading only their
